How it is made & specified.

This stainless steel perforated filter cartridge is a cylindrical screen for pool drainage and circulation equipment. It is used as a removable straining component to intercept solid debris before the flow reaches a pump or other downstream component. The reference images show perforated and wire-mesh cylinders in several diameters and end-ring configurations.

The product is made to fit the actual drain body or cartridge housing. Required inputs include outside diameter, inside diameter where relevant, overall length, end-ring dimensions, closed or open end details and the direction of flow. A sample cartridge or equipment drawing is the most reliable basis for replacement work.

Opening size should be selected from the debris to be retained and the allowable pressure drop. A perforated wall provides strength and coarse screening; a woven mesh liner can be added when smaller particles must be retained. The selected source does not provide a verified micron rating, so no filtration grade is inferred from the image.

The source identifies stainless steel but does not verify a specific grade. Material must therefore be confirmed during quotation based on pool-water chemistry, disinfectant concentration, chloride exposure, temperature and cleaning method. The final quotation should state the exact alloy rather than relying on a generic stainless-steel description.

For quotation, provide cartridge dimensions, opening or retention requirement, water chemistry, flow rate if available, cleaning method, quantity and photos of the installation interface. These details allow fit and open area to be reviewed before production.
