What runs on our floor.

KAIFIL produces woven wire mesh, filter elements and fabricated parts from certified stainless and specialty wire through weaving, cutting, welding, stamping and inspection. The capability summary below is organized by process — specific machine models are confirmed on factory visit or video audit rather than listed as marketing claims.

Weaving & mesh preparation

Wire payoff, drawing and weaving lines prepare SS304, SS316L and specialty alloy mesh to target mesh count and weave type. Rolls are slit to width, blanked to disc or panel size, and deburred where edge condition affects sealing or lamination.

Typical output: woven mesh rolls, cut discs, rectangular blanks and support layers for extruder packs, strainers and custom assemblies. Mesh count and wire diameter are checked against incoming material certificates and sampling on arrival.

Welding & assembly

Spot, seam and TIG welding join mesh to frames, form cylindrical filter sleeves and baskets, and lock multilayer screen pack peripheries. Assembly benches build pleated cartridges, mesh-on-perforated stacks and wedge wire components to drawing.

Typical output: filter cylinders and tubes, strainer baskets, conical screens, welded filter sleeves and multilayer packs. Joint quality and dimensional fit are reviewed against drawing before batch release — weld procedure follows material grade and customer PO requirements.

Stamping & forming

Hydraulic press and forming tooling deep-draw, stamp and edge-form mesh parts where flat cut blanks are insufficient. Operations include rim forming for handling, hub punching for extruder plates and shaped blanks for non-round filter elements.

Typical output: formed mesh caps, stamped support plates, edged discs and pre-formed blanks ready for welding or lamination. Tooling for proprietary outlines is quoted from drawing — repeat OEM parts can fix die and fixture after first-article approval.

Inspection

Incoming wire and mesh: certificate review, mesh count and wire diameter sampling, visual check for weaving defects or contamination. In-process: caliper and gauge checks on OD, ID, thickness and critical dimensions at defined hold points on cutting, welding and assembly.

Outgoing: dimensional report and visual inspection per PO scope; packing photos available before shipment when requested. Functional or pressure testing is quoted only when equipment and fixture scope are defined on the order — we do not claim tests we cannot perform.

Packing & shipping

Degreasing, part marking and export packing follow PO instructions — cartons, crates, VCI, pallet patterns and part-number labels when required. Commercial documents and agreed inspection records are prepared with each shipment for overseas import workflows.
