Process notes for ordering.
Food and beverage filtration must survive product contact, CIP chemicals and periodic audit review — retention may be mesh count, slot width or cartridge micron. Parameters below support RFQ review; compliance statements and temperature limits are confirmed per destination market and your QA file before production.
| Parameter | Typical range (food & beverage) | Notes for RFQ |
|---|---|---|
| Product / media | Sugars; grains; beverages; CIP return | Viscosity; solids content; temperature |
| CIP chemistry | Caustic; nitric; peracetic blends | Concentration; peak CIP temperature |
| Contact material | SS316L typical for washdown duty | Regional compliance requirements on RFQ |
| Retention | Mesh count; slot mm; cartridge μm | State blinding history if known |
| Cleaning | CIP; manual; back-flush | Drives cartridge vs wedge wire choice |
| Documentation | MTC; inspection report | Vendor qualification scope on PO |
Operating limits vary by equipment — values confirmed per project.
For vibratory decks, send deck diameter, mesh count and edge binding. For cartridges, send housing brand, length and seal type. Hygiene-sensitive finishes, sanitary weld areas and oil-free packaging are available when stated on the RFQ. Unit price and MOQ are confirmed after specification review.
