Conical Strainer

Conical strainers are temporary pipeline screens installed between flanges during commissioning, flushing or startup. They help catch construction debris before it reaches pumps, valves, meters, heat exchangers and other downstream equipment.

Specify pipe size, pressure class, flange standard, cone length, perforation or mesh opening, material, handle design, flow direction and open area requirement. For replacement or shutdown work, send a sample photo and flange dimensions.

A perforated cone gives strength for large debris loads, while a mesh liner can capture finer particles. Reinforced rims, handles and custom labels help installation teams identify the correct position during startup.
