Wedge Wire Screen Pipe

Wedge wire screen pipe is made by welding V-shaped profile wire onto support rods. The continuous slot surface provides controlled openings, good open area and a smooth filtering face for intake, retention and dewatering duties.

A clear RFQ should include material, outside diameter or inside diameter, slot opening, length, profile wire, support rod layout, end connection and application. Drawings are strongly preferred for flanges, threads, couplings and vessel-internal assemblies.

Compared with perforated pipe plus mesh, wedge wire pipe gives a stronger self-supporting screen surface and cleaner slot geometry. For very fine micron filtration, it can also be paired with woven mesh or other filter media as a support structure.
