Perforated Metal Sheet

Perforated metal sheet is produced by punching controlled hole patterns into metal plate or coil. It is widely used as a rigid support layer, guard, screen surface, backing plate or formed component in filtration and industrial equipment.

Specify material, thickness, hole shape, hole size, pitch, open area, sheet size, margin, flatness, surface finish and any forming or welding requirement. A drawing is recommended when the sheet needs bends, rolled cylinders, frames or mounting holes.

Compared with woven wire mesh, perforated sheet is more rigid and easier to mount. Compared with solid plate, it provides controlled open area for flow, ventilation, drainage or protection while keeping mechanical support.
