How it is made & specified.
Plain weave wire mesh is woven with each warp and weft wire passing over and under alternately. This simple structure creates a flat surface, square openings and predictable open area for industrial screening and filtration support.
Most RFQs are defined by material, mesh count, wire diameter, aperture size, roll width or finished part size. For custom parts, send the drawing or sample photos so KAIFIL can confirm edge treatment, forming direction, welding position, tolerance and packing method.
Compared with dutch weave mesh, plain weave mesh has a more open square aperture and is easier to inspect visually. Compared with perforated metal, it is lighter and available in finer openings, while framed or supported designs can improve rigidity when the installation requires it.
