How it is made & specified.
Dutch weave wire mesh uses larger warp wires and smaller weft wires packed closely together. Instead of a simple square aperture, it creates a controlled filtration path for fine particle retention in liquid, gas and polymer melt filtration.
Specify the weave type, material, target filtration rating, roll width or finished part size, layer sequence and packing requirement. For custom discs or screen packs, send a drawing, used sample photos or the breaker plate dimensions.
Plain weave mesh is better when the job needs visible square openings and high open area. Dutch weave is preferred when finer retention, stronger media support and repeatable filter-pack fabrication are more important.
