This SS304 perforated filter basket is intended for solid-debris pre-straining in an oil-water treatment or separation system. It can protect pumps, coalescing media, plates, nozzles and downstream internals from larger particles. The basket itself does not separate oil from water; phase separation remains the function of the downstream process equipment.
The selected source identifies SS304 and round-hole perforated construction. No fixed hole size, flow capacity or separation efficiency is established by the reference. Opening and open area must be selected from the expected solids load, target debris size and allowable pressure drop before the basket is released for production.
Basket geometry is matched to the installation chamber or housing. Critical dimensions include OD, overall and usable length, rim or flange, closed-end profile, handle or extraction feature and the position of any support or sealing surfaces. A drawing is preferred for replacement equipment.
SS304 may suit many general oil-water and industrial-liquid services, but compatibility depends on hydrocarbons, additives, chlorides, temperature and cleaning chemicals. If the service conditions require another alloy, it should be reviewed and quoted as a separate material selection rather than assumed from the application name.
For quotation, provide the equipment drawing, SS304 requirement, basket dimensions, perforation or debris-retention target, solids type and loading, flow direction, operating temperature, differential pressure, cleaning method, quantity and required inspection documents.
