How it is made & specified.
This SS304 perforated filter basket is intended for removable installation inside a pressure vessel or liquid-filter housing. Its purpose is to retain debris and protect downstream equipment while providing a rigid structure that can be lifted out for inspection and cleaning. The selected images show cylindrical baskets with round perforations, open tops and several handle arrangements.
The reference establishes SS304 and pressure-vessel liquid service, but it does not establish one fixed diameter, hole size or pressure rating. KAIFIL therefore treats the basket as a made-to-drawing component. Vessel bore, support shoulder, insertion depth, cover clearance and flow direction must be checked before the rim and handle geometry are released for production.
Perforated metal is appropriate for coarse retention and structural support. If the required particles are smaller than the perforations, a woven mesh liner can be attached to the inside or outside according to flow direction and cleaning access. The liner opening, attachment method and edge sealing should be confirmed together to prevent bypass.
SS304 is the verified material for this selected reference. Compatibility still depends on the process liquid, temperature and cleaning chemistry. More corrosion-resistant grades may be quoted as a separate engineered option but are not represented as part of this SS304 configuration.
For an accurate quotation, provide the vessel drawing or basket sample, basket OD, total and usable length, rim dimensions, handle envelope, perforation or retention target, differential pressure, temperature, quantity and required inspection records.
